Tastings & Consultations
We offer a variety of cake and sweets table tasting options to help you find the perfect fit for your celebration. All tastings must be pre-scheduled(either to-go or in house, see page 2 for photos) and are subject to availability.
Included in the cost of your tasting is a 30–45 minute design consultation. In-house tastings are immediately followed by your consultation, while to-go tastings will have the consultation scheduled separately – either in person or virtually. All consultations must be pre-scheduled and are subject to availability.
At your consultation, we’ll discuss sizes, flavors, décor, delivery, and more. Please come prepared with a ballpark guest count, your venue location, and any design inspiration materials you’d like to review.
Please note: A tasting is not considered “ordered” or “booked” until the tasting fee has been paid in full, and all tasting/client information and payment have been received/verified by a Sorella’s Cake Expert.
If these steps are not completed, the appointment will not be reserved, and no tasting samples will be prepared.
To-go Tasting Pickup Availability
To-go tastings are available for pickup by appointment Wednesday through Saturday on the hour as follows:
Wednesday: 10 AM – 5 PM
Thursday & Friday: 10 AM – 6 PM
Saturday: 9 AM – 3 PM
In-house Tastings & Consultations
In-house tastings and consultations are available by appointment Wednesday through Saturday,on the hour as follows:
Wednesday: 10 AM – 3 PM
Thursday & Friday: 12 PM – 5 PM
Saturday: 9 AM – 12 PM

Cake Tastings
Please note: Samples are served separately, allowing you to mix and match cakes and fillings to create, or discover, your perfect combination. All tastings, samples, flavors, and appointments are pending availability, at the discretion of Sorella’s Cake Experts.
Signature Cake Tasting – $40
A pre-selected tasting featuring four of our most popular cakes and fillings. Must be pre-ordered and paid in full at least 24 hours before pickup/in house tasting date & time.
Includes:
- Cakes: Yellow, Chocolate, Marble, White, topped with our House-made Buttercream
- Fillings: Chocolate Mousse, Bavarian Cream, Strawberry Preserve, Sweet Cream Cheese Filling
Studio Cake Tasting – $60
A fully custom tasting, tailored to your taste. Must be pre-ordered and paid in full at least 7 days before pickup/in house tasting date & time.
Includes:
- Cakes: Your choice of up to four cake batters (see our pricing menu for all options), topped with our House-made Buttercream
- Fillings: Your choice of up to four fillings (or other frostings, see our pricing menu for all options)
Extra Sample Pairing – $5
Available as an add-on to any of the above, at the time of placing the order.
Your choice of any two additional samples (cake + cake, filling + filling, cake + filling)
Dietary Restriction-Friendly Studio Cake Tasting – $80
A fully custom tasting, tailored to your choice of cakes and fillings. Must be pre-ordered and paid in full at least 7 days before pickup/in house tasting.
Includes:
- Cakes: Your choice of up to four cake batters, topped with one dietary restriction friendly frosting of your choice*
- Fillings: Your choice of up to four fillings*

Available as an add-on to any of the above, at the time of placing the order.

A comprehensive tasting of our Sweets Table Offerings, customizable where noted.
Must be pre-ordered and paid in full at least 7 days before pickup/in house tasting.

Mini Parfait Cup –Your choice of the following:
One cake batter, one filling and one frosting*
Éclair – Delicious puffed dough, filled with pastry cream, topped in chocolate ganache
Cream Puff – Delicious puffed dough, filled with pastry cream, topped in chocolate ganache
Mini Fruit Tart – Your choice of baked fruit tart or fresh fruit tart
Truffle – Your choice of one of the following:
Chocolate Cake Truffle, Oreo Truffle, or Peanut Butter Truffle
Cake Bite – Your choice of the following: One cake batter, one filling and chocolate ganache or white ganache*
Cookie – Your choice of one of the following:
